ME Travel Samui arranges your diving trips with Silent Divers, a PADI 5-Star IDC dive center based in Bophut, operating since 2012. Whether you've never worn a mask and regulator or you're already certified, the team guides you from your first Discover Scuba Diving experience through to advanced PADI courses.
Day trips reach three of the most celebrated sites in the Gulf of Thailand: the legendary Sail Rock pinnacle, just 50 minutes by boat, the crystal-clear reefs of Koh Tao, and Chumphon Pinnacle for experienced divers. Barracuda, rays and — with a little luck — whale sharks are all part of the possible encounters.

Sail Rock
- Beginner certification level
- 2 dives down to 30 m

- Iconic rock pinnacle — an underwater chimney, schools of barracuda and trevally.
Koh Tao
- Beginner certification level
- 2 dives down to 30 m
- Departs Mon, Thu & Sat
- Crystal-clear reefs and the HTMS Sattakut wreck.
Chumphon Pinnacle
- Open Water certification required
- 2 dives down to 30 m
- Departs Mon, Thu & Sat
- Large schools of barracuda and pink anemones — occasional whale sharks.

Medical fitness to dive
Scuba diving requires being in good general health. It's not recommended during pregnancy, or with unstabilised heart, respiratory or ENT conditions. A medical questionnaire is required before every trip or course. Please avoid flying within 18–24 hours after a dive.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a certified diver to book?
No. Discover Scuba Diving (baptism) requires no certification, from age 10. The Sail Rock and Koh Tao "fun dive" trips are open to certified beginner divers; Chumphon Pinnacle is reserved for experienced levels. You can also complete your PADI certification on site.
Which dive sites are visited from Koh Samui?
Trips reach Sail Rock (50 min by boat), Koh Tao (90 min) and Chumphon Pinnacle for experienced divers — three of the most celebrated spots in the Gulf of Thailand.
What's included in the price?
Every trip includes two instructor-led dives, full equipment, a Thai lunch and drinks. Hotel transfers are included for PADI courses.
Can you see whale sharks?
Sail Rock and Chumphon Pinnacle are two sites where whale sharks are occasionally spotted — no guarantee, nature doesn't take bookings.
How does the deposit work?
A 20% deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due before departure. Booking at least 7 days ahead earns a 10% discount.
